Firefox crashes
Yesterday my Firefox was working properly, however when I went to shut it down, it would not shut down properly, so after waiting a few minutes, I performed a force quit. Today, I booted my computer up and opened firefox and all the tabs appeared but all of them said connecting, and the browser would not respond. I forced quit, and rebooted the program. Same result. I followed the steps to open it in safe mode, however it stopped responding the moment it opened. I then followed the instructions to delete the program and re-download it. After downloading, I opened firefox and this time none of the tabs were there, just an empty tab. However, it immediately stopped responding, just as it had before. I have tried numerous times to find out why it has stopped responding, with no luck.
I have tried to find the application library to see if there is a crash note, however I am unable to find it. Please help.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page. You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.
