I am trying to customize the Navigation toolbar. The bookmarks default to the far right side, I want them to the left of the search bar. When I right click on the tool bar and enter Customize, I can arrange the bar the way that I want. When I click on Done and exit, the change does not occur. The bookmarks are back on the far right. How do I get the change made in Customize to override this ?

Matt_G, Thanks for the link. Through it I found that I could go Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information. That brought up a page with a button to open the Profiles Directory. There I found the Prefs.js file you spoke of. I viewed Properties > Security and was able to edit my permissions of the file to Full Control. Now Firefox accepts the navigation toolbar changes that I made. This solved my problem, Thanks again.

Hi Torani,

You might want to look at the article Preferences not saved. There is a lot of good information on in there they might help you if your pref.js file is having issues.

Hopefully this helps!
