firefox automatically updated and now will not work at all I can only get the home page & nothing else why?

since the last automatic update I have not been able to get firefox to work, I only recieve the home page. I have removed firefox & downloaded it again but got the same result it no longer works & I am stuck using the crappy Internet Explorer which is slow & freezes on me.

Your firewall application probably is not recognizing the new Firefox version and is not allowing internet access. Close/exit Firefox, remove firefox.exe and plugincontainer.exe from your firewall's allowed applications list, restart Firefox and allow the firewall to detect the new version and give the permissions needed for Firefox to access the internet

Doesn't work & I have now been without mozilla for 4 days, you now there is a saying " If it's not broke don't fix it. " It would have been nice if Mozilla would actually let people to decide if they want to update something instead of just automatically doing it without asking, you know windows ask if you want the latest updates or not they don't just automatically choose for you, you can choose yourself when you want to update, but I see you want to be like facebook in that regard not asking just do it automatically.
