Hi carl82,

Can you be more specific as to what is missing? What was the function of these glyphs? You might want to try starting Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Option key while Firefox is starting. If you disable all themes and add-ons and everything looks right again, you can try turning things back on one by one until you find the culprit.

Do you mean the icons for your bookmarks are missing? If that's the case, you should take a look at this article that discusses some of the issues with the latest build of Firefox.

There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

Hopefully this helps!

My problem with Firefox is a recent one. When a Bookmark is made, there is a symbol or glyph that appears to the left of the link name of the new Bookmark. It is usually in color and has some graphic reference to the subject. On one of my three computers, those symbols have gone away. On one occasion, they all flashed back on, but then disappeared again. The line of type is still there and works to find the subject of the link. This problem started with the download of the latest version of Firefox.

Solution did not work. Tried it a couple times along with a reboot. Only a few favicons load.

Try to update to Firefox 10.0.1 as that issue should be fixed in that version.
