2nd request. every time I install Firefox, it starts to run slow and typing is slow.
9.0.1 MacBook Air Runs slow. Safari work fine. typing is too slow, I finish a sentence and takes time to write it.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

FireFox is a bloody mess on my MacBook Air. I have tried everything, Apple says I should took to a tech support in person hopefully this will resolve the matter. Some how I am having the same troube with AOL. I cannot also shutdown my computer because of Firefox. Bastille3@aol.com
