Firefox crashes
Hello,
I'm not sure what has happened but for some reason every time I click the desktop tab to open Firefox a pop up appears for "Mozilla Crash Reporter" and the only option is to quit.
I have tried pressing shift and opening but nothing has worked, also have updated windows and ran a malware check.
Please let me know how to fix this.

I'm jumping in on this same question. Here is some detail.
A couple of days ago when I tried to open Firefox a box open with the question "Do you know that Mozilla is a non-profit organization?" I checked the box "I didn't know" then my problems began. Since then my Internet Explorer does not launch properly either. I downloaded and ran Firefox PC Cleaner and it detected 2223 problems of which 128 are critical and 1000 serious. But the program won't let me fix the problem. Ironically I get the message "Firefox has encountered a problem and crashes." Here is what I believe is the crash ID. 56fa9677-0382-4abf-8b26-a6dd02120. HELP!
I finally fixed the problem. was quite simple actually, just downloaded firefox again and installed, didn't even remove the current version. maybe some files went missing and reinstalled...
