Firefox 11 toolbar TEXT will not appear
I upgraded to firefox 11. I have windows vista 64. I want to have TEXT on the toolbar buttons. The small icon box IS NOT checked. I tried to find a persona that would have the TEXT, but that did not work. I hate the new firefox but the older version does not work with many websites, so I upgraded. I like new things and change if something is improved. Unfortunately firefox 11 makes it harder to see the toolbar clearly. The toolbar is too small, the tabs are not easily readable because there is not enough contrast, and the lack of text makes it hard to see. I do not want lots of busy colors, pictures, and distracting personas. I just want contrast and text with the icons. Why does the text and icon choice do absolutely NOTHING?

Yes, icons and text only works on regular toolbars and not on the Tab bar.
Do you still have a problem with the contrast?
You can look at a solid persona if you want a different background color in the toolbar area.

Why does the text and icon choice do absolutely NOTHING?
Actually, that option does work for me.
Could you try using the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize dialog to see whether that restores the proper functioning of the toolbar?
Regarding font size, you could try this add-on: Theme Font & Size Changer :: Add-ons for Firefox. If that doesn't give you fine enough control, there are a couple of other ways to hack the browser that volunteers here could outline for you.
Restore Default Set did make the text appear. It seems that text will only show if the buttons are in a separate bigger toolbar and not on the same line as the tabs. I had one thin line toolbar. Even text only won't show up on the thin line. The two toolbar lines will work. Thank you very much.
