When I click on a contact in Yahoo mail to email them, I get a box with the message "Something unexpected just happened...." and the screen locks up.

This happens with Firefox 11.0, Yahoo! edition 1.9 on Mac OS/X 10.6. Also the "To" line in the Yahoo mail send screen no longer auto-fills.

There have been various issues with Yahoo based email and the Flash plugin. Your Flash plugin is pretty old. You should go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ and update Flash and any others that are outdated and then see if the problem still happens.
