Why am I suddenly missing Microsoft MPEG-1 (50), and how do I replace it?
This morning I attended a webinar using Go To Meeting and Firefox. There was a message that indicated I needed some sort of plug in to attend the webinar. I think it was Java Script. This afternoon I got a message on my RingCentral Account. I could navigate there and open my account, but I could not play my most recent message, though I could hear all of the old ones. I called RingCentral Tech Support and they could hear the message. I was told it was my browser and that I should use Google Chrome. I downloaded Google Chrome and played the message. I like Firefox better than Google Chrome. I am thinking that this might be related to the Webinar download this morning. So, how do I fix the Microsoft MPEG-1 (50) with Windows Media Player?

the problem with your webinar is likely depending on the java plugin - firefox disabled old versions of the java plugin because they entailed serious security issues that left pcs open to infections. you can download the latest update which contains all the fixes from java.com
For more info on Java plugin, see this article -> Use the Java plugin to view interactive content on websites
You can also try to install the new WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll)
