While smooth scrolling a get slight temporary tearing that fixes self after stop scrolling (ony in motion). In version 13 this problem became more apparent.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Thank you but no, didn't make any difference.

I think on my particular hardware and installed software the differences between Chrome and Firefox are more obvious.

Fedora Release 16 (Verne) XFCE live, updated, 3.4.2-1.fc16.x86_64 GNU/Linux, current nouveau driver updated 2 GiB RAM (1.7), AMD Athlon Dual Core 4450e, GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 with 256 shared video RAM. Firefox 13
