can t open
I can not open firefox, i get an error message saying it is already open. i have restarted the computer, uninstalled/reinstalled, done the chkdsk thing, and every other thing listed in the help articles, what else can i do? i have ie and google chrome, which i despise both but they are running fine and everything else is fine w my computer, this started on saturday and i can not fix it.

Hi! It could be that Firefox is still running as a process even though it has closed.
Try,
1. Right-click on the Windows task bar
2. Select Start Task Manager
3. Click on Processes tab, and select firefox.exe*32
4. Click on End Process button.
this was the first thing i did, there is not any type of process open with firefox listed. i have tried everything that was listed in the the help forums and am still getting the error message.
