I updated Firefox on my mac and now history folder is not recording brousing history, how do I fix it?

IF you already have in Firefox > Preferences > Privacy tab > History > Firefox will CHECKED [ v ] Remember history or Use custom settings for history then see: Locked or damaged places.sqlite

Is that with a TenFourFox Firefox version because Firefox 3.6.28 is the latest Firefox version that runs on Mac OS X 10.4.11?
