Firefox se cuelga al actualizar a 17.0.1 sigue pidiendo actualizar a pesar de estar la última versión
Firefox pide actualizar a 17.0.1, acepto y pide reiniciar la pc para completar el proceso, luego sale una ventana "espere mientras firefox comprueba las actualizaciones". Esto sigue por 30 minutos, luego compruebo que la versión está actualizada. Al otro día, vuelve a pedir nuevamente la actualización y veo que regresó a versión 17.0. Actualizo otra vez y se vuelve a repetir todo. Así sucede en un bucle desde hace 5 días. ¿cuál puede ser la falla? Gracias.

How many extensions do you have?
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.
Borré los archivos pero no funcionó. Cada vez que reinicio la pc vuelve a la versión 17.0 y pide actualizar a la 17.0.1
Sorry but this didn't work. I follow the instructions but with each reboot firefox turn back to older version 17.0 , ask to update to 17.0.1, check compatibility addons, and then all over again.
There are two add-ons that on first attempt were shown as incompatible: - password exporter - copy link url
But when I install current versions it let them, and then shows nothing more. The issue is that firefox doesn't work well.
