Re-downloading webpages everytime I switch to another application
Hello, I am very happy Firefox for Andoid user. However, there is a one small issue I didn't resolve yet. Everytime I use Home button or I switch to different application, after spending like 30 sec without having Firefox on screen, it flushes all it's memory and caches. When I return to Firefox, it start loading all tabs once again, wasting bandwidth and time.
Basic visualization of the problem:
1) working on Firefox on mobile connection, having multiple tabs opened and loaded 2) switch to different app, let's say - Facebook for Android 3) after 60 seconds, come back to Firefox 4) ALL TABS are blank and start downloading again from beginning 5) waiting 30 seconds for them to re-download and continue work.
It's wasting time and mobile bandwidth.
Using Firefox (Fennec) 17 on Android 4.1.1 (Galaxy Nexus smartphone)
Users from support-firefox mailing list (support-firefox@lists.mozilla.org) suggest me to write here for more professional help.
Thanks in advance for any answers! Regards

I understand your problem as I have the same phone as you and use Firefox on a daily basis. What is happening is that when you switch to another application, it may need memory that Firefox is using, and may need to clear out Firefox's cache. Also, are you using the recent apps (two rectangles on top of each other) button to return to Firefox? If not and you click on the Firefox icon from a home screen each time, it will start a new session in Firefox. If this explanation is a little too complicated, don't hesitate to ask for a larger breakdown, and submit a suggestion to Firefox if you don't like how it operates in this fashion, because you are definitely not the first person to wonder something like this.
I hope this explains it for you.
