This started 1/22/13 almost after updating to vers 18. After accessing all my weekly sites without issue now I am getting this connection is untrusted pop up. This very annoying. tried setting time as some have suggested still get pop up. Need assistance . will use IE9 til Firefox is resolved. Any info to help would be appreciated.

Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.

Check out why the site is untrusted (see the Technical details) and if this is caused by a missing intermediate certificate then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.

Some firewalls monitor secure (https) connections and send their own certificate instead of the website's certificate.

You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.

  • Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"

Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

  • Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.

You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.

I have version 20 and all of a sudden this afternoon (after working fine this morning) I cannot access any site without getting the error prompt "this connection is untrusted". Especially with support.mozilla sites (I've had to use chrome to look and post here) and I cannot always click on the "I understand the risks" as it is not always listed, plus I usually have to do it over and over and most of the time the page will look unscripted and wonky. None of the solutions have worked (time change, firewalls, antivirus, proxy changes) and I cannot post a new question in support, for some reason the button does not work.

After the Adobe flash debacle I'm ready to go to Chrome for good. This is beyond ridiculous.
