Recently updated to FF 18.0.2, was getting unresponsive js error on 18.0.1 and on stopping the script, ff used to crash to desktop, updated to 18.0.2, still getting the js error, but now no crashing of ff to the desktop, i used to get no errors like this in previous versions of ff.. Is there's some problem with IonMonkey JS Engine???

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

I have'nt tried that on my default browser, but i tried installing 18.0.2 on a VM Machine (so no need to reset i think, a fresh installation), and the problem was there too, what i mean to ask is that why only facebook is having this problem?? I use many JS heavy sites, none hangs or crashes, facebook on the other hand make ff unresponsive, frequently hanging while browsing pics, and frequent js unresponsive messages.. :(
