How do I make Firefox launch automatically upon booting the computer? (I have Windows 7, Firefox 20.0.1)

Since I always launch Firefox immediately after booting anyway, I'd like it to launch automatically when I boot the computer. I have Windows 7, Firefox 20.0.1

In old versions of Windows, you could copy and paste your desktop shortcut into a startup folder. On Windows 7, let's see... it's here:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Any luck?

Thanks for responding! I searched "Computer" for %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup, but I got, "No items match your search."

I created a Firefox shortcut as advised on: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1401-startup-programs-change.html but for some reason, it wouldn't drag-and-drop into the Startup folder found on the "All Programs" section of the Start Menu. Also, when I clicked on "Open," "Open All Users," "Explore," or "Explore All Users," nothing happened at all.

I finally resorted to Computer > [search word] Startup > Startup [file folder] (location of this folder is: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu), and dragged-and-dropped the Firefox shortcut successfully into the Startup folder. When I rebooted, Firefox launched automatically. But I'm not really sure if that was the best way to do this.

Thanks again!

I've never used C:\ProgramData, at least not intentionally. Interesting.

Regarding the path I posted, one option for opening it is to open Windows Explorer (Window key + E) and paste it in the address box at the top, then press Enter. At least, that works for me.
