How do I stop auto script from speaking?
Voice over from computer is driving me nuts ..... how do I stop this feature?

Try turning ease of access off, to do this go to the Control Panel> Ease of Access> Ease of Access Center and go to use the computer without the display, then uncheck Start Narrator.
You may have switch on the VoiceOver accessibility feature (System Preferences -> Speech;(fn) Cmd-F5)
