Why shouldn't I go back to Safari browser as it operates for career website registration than Firefox?

Using Career Websites such as Directv, Boeing or Northrop Grumman, Firefox JUST DOES NOT WORK. I can select the elements required for a job search and their sites do nothing BUT go to Safari and all works as expected. Seriously - enter the minimal required information and click search and these web pages do nothing but just the opposite in Safari. I am temporarily using Safari unless I get an answer.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

(edited to fix the text)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Sorry about the confusion. Something went wrong with a previous edit of this text.

Nope. I'd like to say that I have tried those suggestions in the past. Good example of Firefox inability to operate for job search can be found by trying it your self.

Just select country > zip > distance

under safari it works perfectly under FF, it does not.
