Where is this mysterious "show all bookmarks" tab so I can get to the library to export????
I'm so exasperated!! When I click on bookmarks all my bookmarks already show. There is no option anywhere to "show all bookmarks" which the help section tells me will lead me to some library so I can export to an html document. Why don't they just have an export button!!!!@!!!???

Firefox 3.6 might have had different naming on the menu. If you look at the top items, do you have any that refer to managing or organizing bookmarks?
Also, try Command + Shift + b to open the Bookmarks Organizer (now called the Library dialog).

In Firefox 3.6.x it is called Organize Bookmarks
In the Bookmarks Manager (Library) there is a toolbar with the Back and Forward button and three other buttons (Organize, Views, Import & Backup).
- The first (gear) button is the Organize button with basic edit menu items for bookmarks
- The second button is the Views button that allows to change the sort order for viewing purposes (doesn't sort permanently).
- The third (star) button is the Import & Backup button that allows to backup and restore a JSON backup and import and export an HTML backup and import bookmarks from other browsers.
Hover each button to see the tooltip or click each of them to see what they do.
Thank you so much for your time!!!!
Thank you so much, both of you. Very helpful!!
You're welcome
The last Firefox version that runs on Mac OS X 10.4 is Firefox 3.6.28.
Current Firefox versions require a Mac with an Intel processor and OS X 10.6 (Firefox 16 runs on Intel Mac OS X 10.5).
For an unofficial Firefox 17.0.6 ESR compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
