Good day,

I currently use the drop-down style of bookmarks on my browser - here's a picture:

What I would like to do is have that drop-down button without the text. If I go to customize, and substitute the text-less bookmarks star, it's not a drop-down, it's a space-hogging, webpage scrunching thing.

Can anyone tell me how to make this bookmarks drop-down button just an icon?

Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.

The customization files userChrome.css (interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

This can be done by putting bookmarks into folders and having the folder appear on the toolbar. See Use bookmark folders to organize your bookmarks for more!

Cheers! I had a fresh OS install so there was no chrome file in my Firefox. Making a userChrome.css file in there - with that text - completely accomplished what I wanted. Thanks a bunch!
