Firefox asks to remember passwords on most sites, but not on all. I've tried everything suggested in Firefox Help, but the problem still exists.
On three of my regularly visited websites, Firefox does not ask to remember my password, so I have to enter it each time. On most other sites I visit, it asks and remembers the password. I've gone through all the suggested steps such as starting Firefox in safe mode, troubleshooting extensions and add-ons, etc., but those sites still will not remember or ask me to remember the password. What else can I try?

hello, websites can define that the browser shouldn't save passwords in their source-code, see Usernames and passwords are not saved
you could use an addon like the following to circumvent such restrictions: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/remember-passwords

Thanks. Interestingly, the addon you suggest worked for one of the websites that previously would not allow saving passwords, but not for another. But I'm better off than I was before!
