I have a macbook from 2007 and am entering school. This past week we got our logins and what not and can surf the internet completely fine except for our email, our courses' website and the portal to all these things. These websites won't even load, so i can never put in my credentials. I then plugged in the ethernet and everything worked except for the portal website. The error message I always get "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server." I have talked to some IT people and they had no idea what could be done. A random tidbit is that it actually loaded yesterday at one random point but the minute it X'ed out of it (not even quit the application) It no longer worked.
