I had my android synced to firefox, but not to long ago it stopped syncing even though I went on my phone to sync them. Now the firefox on my computer shows no knowledge of having a device synced. So now my computer is telling my how to set up a sync while my android still thinks it is connected, and gives No options to set up a sync, as it already thinks that is done.

hello, please try to pair the two devices like this:

  1. on your android phone go into the system's settings app and into accounts & synchronisation (might be worded slightly different on different android devices), go to firefox sync & tap on pair a device.
  2. on your desktop go to firefox > options > sync > set up firefox sync > i have an account which will show you a 3x4 character code that you'll have to enter into your android device in order to complete the process.
