How can I open a tab replacing the existing tab that is open.

I am looking up words in a PDF and by right clicking on the word I select "Look Up". A new tab opens for every word I look up. Can I replace the existing tab and not add a new tab each time?

That depends how the program is set up. See if there is a options menu.
