http://www.southernpersuasion.com I have maintained this site for years. Recently, rather than post pictures on a photo storage provider and post them to facebook, I have posted them to facebook and then linked to them from this site (select the Pictures link). When I click on a link, I get a blank page in the frame. When I right click on the link and select Open New Tab, or Open New Window it comes up. I don't think I've messed up the html... in fact, I think I just changed the links from previous entries that were actually linked to PhotoBucket or the like. What is wrong, and how can I fix it? Thanx.

Looks like a cross domain security issue. You're trying to display a secure (https) page at Facebook in a http frame at your website. But, I only see that happen when simply clicking a hyperlink on the Pictures page. If I right-click and use the This Frame part of the contextual menu, no problems.

I see that in IE, too, except that IE explains the problem.
This content cannot be displayed in a frame - To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame. is what I get in IE8.

Overall, you might want to update that website to the 2nd decade of the 21st century, and also get rid of the Frames by using iFrames.

    2. 8/29/07 Added roll over Javascript
    3. 8/31/07 Corrected links to images after revamp.

Front Page code from the mid-90's doesn't work well in modern browsers. It is displayed in the Quirks Mode, which is a "best guess" situation; for some viewers it might guess correctly, but for most it doesn't work as expected.

Yes... I've been extremely lazy. Front Page does the WYSIWYG thing and is quick and dirty to get things up. Then again, errors like this show me I need to update my skills, which are severely outdated. I've been an Oracle DBA for 15 years or more and do this and a few other sites in my spare time. I guess a good Google search on iFrames can bring me into the 21st century. Thanx.

Note that Firefox supports this for quite some time and that all Mozilla servers (including this forum) send this header.
