Auto Update to 27.0.1 - Right click menu shows everything (very long)
Firefox just crashed. I then opened it back up and it looked like it was finishing up auto updating to 27.0.1. Once on a page, I right clicked on a link and found a very very long list that even scrolls further. On top of that, the functions are not working when I click on something I want. I tried starting up in safe mode and it still does not work correctly. I see posts from almost a year ago where firebug was a problem, but I have never had that plug in installed.

As I mentioned in the first post, it was still broken in safe mode. I even restarted the computer and browser a few times with the problem still there. Anyway, today it decided to magically work correctly. I have no clue what happened. I have not changed anything since I first posted here.

Hi ziplock122949,
Sorry you are having problems.
If it was a single crash probably no need to worry about that for now. if it crashes again then we are going to be asking you for Crash IDs. Crash IDs are obtained by navigating to about:crashes and looking for the Crash IDs. They begin with bp- and if you paste them into a message the forum changes them (after you post) into links.
What right click menu is it that you have a problem with ?
A screenshot may help
- Is this only on certain websites ? It may be a feature of the website.
- Does it even happen on Firefox's homepage ? or on this Forum ?
I don't really care about the crash. It happens sometimes. The reason I mentioned it was because it finished updating on relaunch (maybe a clue if something got corrupted). This is not the first time that I have seen a crash and update on restart. I know I have seen it before on at least one computer before. Attached is the screen shot. I did not see any add images/file browse when I posted.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
