I am not getting my email. Have error messages:Downloading messages for offline use"
Bottom of screen messages: 1] Downloading four messages etc. (can't remember whole message

Question: Where are my messages and why haven't they come through???

'Downloading messages for offline use' indicates you do have an IMAP account and you have synchronization enabled, i.e. you can also open your messages while offline.
There is no mentioning of any new messages.
If you suspect there are new messages on the server check via webmail.
