After transfer all my data from a Win10 Thunderbird installation to a new Win11 PC with copy - paste procedure of the profiles from Local and Roaming sub folders of the old PC to the new one, I noticed the following problem (both Thunderbird installations are similar last updates etc.) All the accounts, calendars, etc are ok in the new PC, but for folders with Greek letters there are no emails inside them through Thunderbird (emails and subfolders are shown on File explorer) and also all the subfolders of these folders are not shown. After close and re-activate Thunderbird these folders with Greek spelling are double still without mails and subfolders. I made the same procedure of transferring all data from old PC to new one with no result. Any idea?

After having gone through the whole list of items in: "Finish setup" and seeing each item appearing to have been completed this note had continued to display on that bar. How do i resolve this?

When using chat software, there may be shortcut key conflicts, and the sidebar will still open when using shortcut keys even after being closed.

In the settings, the AI robot is turned off, but when using shortcut keys, the options for the AI robot will still be turned on by itself and cannot be turned off.

Hi, my firefox appears to be missing its navigation/toolbar. I only have a single bottom bar for the address bar, home, tab and the three dots. I would like to have the back, forward button, bookmarks to be pinned on the toolbar area. I try to use the Secret Setting but it does not have the option to enable toolbar. I have included two screenshots, the orange circle depicting my current situation. I would like to have something similar to the toolbar (Samsung Internet Browser) in the other screenshot with teal circle.

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! While trying to install a Spectrum e-mail account with the format (user.new.rr.com) errors post suggesting that the Username/password is incorrect. The user name/password is correct because it functions well on web mail. The settings search says (with a green check) that all is well. Still no install is possible. The install is also not possible in outlook. Our only successful install is in an Apple IOS cell phone. We are on a Microsoft Windows 11 machine with Version 24H2 and OS build 26100.3194. The Windows Feature Experience Pack is 1000.26100.48.0. Any suggestions on how to successfully install would be most appreciated.

like everyone else I need to enlarge the toolbar and menu settings,, currently way too small. They were much larger but have somehow became smaller again. Cannot find a decent add on for this. There are a few around but dont work properly Thanks in advance.. Ps I dont need instructions re my computer it is merely the Firefox tool bar and search area

I don't know what happened but I left my computer to go into another room and when I came back the firefox icon was gone from my monitors screen. how do I get it back?

We are currently considering using Firefox ESR as our default browser but experiencing a few issues and one of them is with our configured SailPoint IdentityIQ Single Sign-On Experience, which uses Basic Authentication.

Issue Description First, the login button needs to be clicked multiple times before access to the site is granted. Once signed in, the Firefox inbuilt authentication dialogue appears, prompting the user to log in again (see the attached screenshot). The landing page is only presented after clicking the login button several times. This creates a poor user experience, sometimes causing pages to load improperly. Interestingly, the same process works seamlessly in Edge Chromium.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken I have already attempted the following: 1. Temporarily disabled all custom and security settings in mozilla.cfg and config.json. 2. Temporarily disabled Firefox Tracking Protection. 3. Allowed third-party cookies for the specific URL. 4. Upgraded Firefox Version to 128.7.0 5. Since our Firefox browser is significantly hardened, I have also enabled and reconfigured the following settings in mozilla.cfg to ensure Basic Authentication is allowed, functions properly, and suppresses Firefox’s authentication prompt, but without success:

network.http.phishy-userpass-length = 255 network.http.use-basic-auth network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-non-fqdn network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris security.enterprise_roots.enabled security.enterprise_roots.enabled

Observations from SailPoint Team Our colleagues from SailPoint have tested the setup in their environment, and according to them, it works as expected. However, their browser is not hardened, and they have leveraged the SailPoint UI for authentication instead of the built-in Firefox authentication prompt.

Further Investigation • Is there a specific configuration required in the user profile settings? • Network trace analysis shows 404 errors on GET requests and the following error codes on POST requests: • 302 Redirect: Mozilla Documentation • 408 Request Timeout: Mozilla Documentation

Next Steps Is there a specific security setting that needs to be enabled or disabled? Are there any particular Firefox enterprise policies we should modify? I have also attached screenshots for reference. Let me know if you need specific logs or network traces for further troubleshooting.

My own email address continues to end up on my own Amazon Web Service's Simple Email Service's suppression list due to "complaints."

I can only presume Thunderbird is automatically and invisibly making these complaints on my behalf.

How do I disable Thunderbird's ability to make these reports?

Using group policy there is various settings required for our users. We have been using the preferences policy located at: Administrative Templates > Mozilla > Firefox > Preferences

This policy requires the use of JSON, we have been using the following which has been working ok:

Within the old "Preferences (Deprecated)" there is a setting called "intl.accept_languages" which we are wanting to use but I can't seem to find a way to include this within the JSON. We are wanting to set it to "en-GB".

If I enable this within the old deprecated preferences section it causes the Preferences with the JSON to stop working.

I have tried various combinations of including it within the JSON but neither are working:

"intl.accept_languages": { "Value": en-GB, "Status": "user" }

"intl.accept.languages": { "Value": en-GB, "Status": "user" }

I've checked the Mozilla website here: https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/ There doesn't seem to be any reference for the intl.accept_languages setting to be used within the JSON

Hi,

My bank statements is password protected. I save it via 'print to PDF'. That gets rid of the password protection. Unfortunately this makes it almost 10 times bigger than the original PDF file.

Any idea why this will happen?
