I do not understand how to allow websites to open. I have tried changing the privacy settings. I know the CDC is a trusted web site and it will not allow me to go to them. I am in school and I need access to that site

Hi, it sounds like if you try to hit https://www.cdc.gov/ you are getting a "Server Not Found" error. One possibility is that the DNS lookup -- the step where your browser tries to find the numeric address for the site -- failed. Could you try changing your DNS setting using the steps in the following article: Firefox DNS over HTTPS. Does having DNS over HTTPS either ON or OFF make any difference?

Thank you for your reply! Apparently, the issue has now been resolved on its own. I didn't have to change any of my preferences.
