Looks like you may have a malicious extension or installed malware. See this thread on the AdBlock Plus forum:
- https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=10715 "Ads not by this site"

You should go through your Firefox -> Add-ons -> Extensions list and remove anything suspicious (see the above links) or else disable all extensions and see if the problem goes away. If it does, one of your extensions was causing it. This article will help with that: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
If the problem persists, you should ask for help on a forum specializing in malware removal. See Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware for some recommendations.

First, please update to Firefox 18.0.2 Update Firefox to the latest release
Then Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
I am using google chrome and have the same problem, this dam add on which I can't find or uninstall is driving me crazy. Does any one here have a link or know how to remove.
Who ever invented this needs to be shot. People don't want this problem. Please write back if you have a answer that might help
Actually i did, i updated the firefox and reset it but nothing happened. The pic attached (inside the yellow square) is an ex. of what i said, it is from youtube
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
actually i scanned my computer with microsoft safety scanner but nothing changed
Please try with Malwarebytes and TDSSKiller as well, they all scan for different things and remove different infections.
i tried them all, still nothing happened. please look at the pic i uploaded previously, to concentrate your answer, thanks
Try to ensure you scan with as many tools as possible, and that you use the very latest version of them. It is possible this is something new that some of them may not yet detect.
yes, i tried the last version of the above softwares, as you can see with the attached screen shot, it appears severe under the name of "Ads not by this site"
Try installing adblockplus.org
You need an extension for chrome called AdBlock Plus on Google Chrome or if you have it already enable it in the extension section of Google chrome settings.
See here for the how to you tube clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_1NpsQ3RHI
Everything will be OK from now on, you can relax.

There is a adware plugin hidden in your firefox extentions...
Below is from the virus scan....
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\6fu0hx8r.default\extensions\5080a19eb33a8@5080a19eb33e1.com.xpi > ZIP > content/bg.js - Win32/Adware.MultiPlug.H
You installed extension that displays ads. The problem is that it comes with many different apps and there are about 50 extensions that might cause 'Ads not by this site' advertisements to show up. Read the full list of Ads not by this site associated extensions.
Some of them:
- 1 Click Downloader
- Best Youtube Downloader 1.0.26
- BeCool
- Better Links
- Bflix1.0
- Browser Enhancements 1.0
- Click 2 Save
- CodecC
- CodecM
- Coupon Dropdown
- Coupon Companion
- Deals Plugin

I don't know how to remove this !@#$% virus but I do know how to disable it by blocking its access to the internet.
In Windows, open your Hosts file. In Vista, it's normally located here: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Once it's open, add the following lines:
127.0.0.1 shpr.co
127.0.0.1 px.pluginhandler.info
127.0.0.1 static.getjs.net
Then save and close the file. You may need to disable your Anti-virus program to be able to save the Hosts file. Be sure to re-activate it once you've saved the Hosts file.
Also, be forewarned that this px.pluginhandler.info appears to be a well-orchestated campaign on behalf of a sleazy anti-virus vendor. They infect your computer and then offer to sell you their program to remove it. Furthermore, by using black-hat SEO methods, they have created a bunch of different sites that offer to solve the problem for you by selling you their anti-virus software, so if you do a search, all the sites you find are run by the same people who infected your computer in the first place!
I sincerely hope someone hunts these people down, soaks them with gasoline, sets them on fire and then posts the video of their demise on YouTube...
This removal guide (link removed by mod) helped me fix the redirect. It makes sense!
