Yahoo seems to load with no style, but will load correctly in a private window. How do I correct this behavior? FF20.0.1
Since FF20, yahoo.com and yahoo mail come up appearing as if it is using no page style. The log-on fails. However, when I use a New Private Window, all is right for this web site (although no links get marked as visited-as expected).
Might I have some preference switched or such? A search on the recent web does not show any similar issues...
Thank you.

The above instructions have solved the issue. I finally had to disable Mozilla Labs: Prospector - about:trackers 2.
I had forgotten about this experiment. Now it's gone and the sites are restored.
Thanks!

Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
Following your instructions produces no change in ff20 behavior. Yahoo only works properly when I am in a Private Window, otherwise no log in and the home page looks like no style.
I would expect the described behavior to be reversed between Private and standard Windows...
Also, I noticed that in the Private Window, I see a history of sites I visited. Is that expected?
Thanks

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
