bold textI just installed Thunderbird 24.6 on a new system running Windows 7 64bit. I can read and send messages, but in the main pane, new messages are not Bold, and mail accounts that have new messages are not bolded, either. On another Windows 7 x64 system I do not have this problem. On the new system the only installed add-on is Lightning, and I have started Thunderbird in safe mode, but that did not solve the problem. There is still the read/unread column, and it correctly shows a pip by unread e-mails, but I want the bold effect back. How can I correct this?

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Problem Solved. I was playing around with Windows Font setting and had chosen a font that did not have separate bold and not bold entries (Segoe UI Semibold)

Did you already try Reapair the folder? and Compact?

Sorry, I have tried Inbox >> Properties >> Repair folder, I should have added that as well. I have not tried compacting the folder, I thought that was the default behavior.

I have several e-mail accounts and they are all exhibiting the same behavior, the individual messages are not bolded and the accounts are also not bolded when new message arrive, they are still highlighted blue though.
