Hi! As I setup my new OS installation, had to regain my sync info. Wen to sync and, by mistake, created a new sync account using the same e-mail AND password as my old one (which had all my bookmarks, etc). Now I can retrieve my old data. What can I do?

What Firefox version did you use previously?

Firefox 29 and later use a different Sync version that use a Firefox account and use different servers.

You would have to install a Firefox 28 version to get access to that older Sync data if you really need this data and once done update Firefox once again.

Sorry, creating a new Sync account using the same username and password would overwrite any data in that account on the Sync server.

Do you have any other devices connected to Sync? IOW, a device that would still have your data that was in Sync?

That's nice to know. I had a device here with my old sync data. It did the trick. The firefox tip was pretty good too. Glad didn't need it. Thanks!
