I did a adwear cleaning and now the icon is gone. It is still within the properties - set icon. But if you set it - it still is blank. Upgrading did not fix.

I got too many extensions and do not want to do a reset just for this.

just try to remove the short cut from your desktop and create a new one by right clicking on the firefox in the mozilla folder and click on send to desktop as short cut

Hmm there wasn't one on my desktop. I mentioned Start Menu and Taskbar. But making a new shortcut from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Aurora\firefox.exe" Did help.So it is solved now. Thanks..

I chose "pin to start menu" then "unpin from start menu" to let maybe someone else know.
