I got a new computer, I still have my old harddrive and it has all my saved passwords, how to I get them back.

They had a master password that I know. Are there files that I can put into my new computer from the old harddrive the will give me back my old saved passwords?

Hello ck7x24! You may have to use Firefox sync. See this article for more info: http://goo.gl/hkYBBN __________________________________________________________________________________ Part 1: Create a Firefox Sync account

You only need to do this part once. Launch Firefox on your computer and choose the appropriate directions below.

1.Click the menu button, then click Sign in to Sync. The Firefox Sync page will open in a new tab. Note: If you don't see a Sync section in the menu, you are signed in to the old version of Sync. 2,Click the Get Started button. 3.Fill out the form to create an account and click Next. You're almost there! 4.Check your email for the verification link and click on it to confirm your email address. You're ready to go! Go to Part 2 to connect your other devices to Firefox Sync. __________________________________________________________________________________Part 2: Connect additional devices to Firefox Sync

All you have to do is log in and let Sync do the rest. Take note of the email address and password you used in Part 1. You'll need them to connect your other devices.

1.Connect another computer to Firefox Sync 2.Click the menu button, and then Sign in to Sync. 3.Click the Get Started button to open the Create a Firefox account page. 4.Click on the Already have an account? Sign in link at the bottom of the page. 5.Enter the email and password you used to create your new Sync account. After you've signed in, Firefox Sync will start synchronizing your information across your connected devices.

You can copy the signons.sqlite and key3.db files from the Firefox profile folder on the old computer to the profile folder of the new computer. You can copy the files to an USB stick. Firefox 32 and later use the logins.json file instead of signons.sqlite. You can recover more files if you want.
