When visiting some sites, I have noticed mostly when there are a large amount of images on said site, my entire computer locks up for about a minute, and I literally can't do anything. If I re-visit one of the problematic pages, it won't freeze again during any specific session, my guess is data is being cached. Please try to fix this issue or tell me how to do it myself.

Are you aware that the Developer Edition is an alpha 2 level program that receives daily updates? And it isn't really meant for "normal" use, as an everyday browser.

To help you solve the problem you described, the first basic troubleshooting step is to see what happens in the Firefox SafeMode. Please read that support article for other troubleshooting ideas.
