I've updated to latest version many, many times. I follow the prompts. But I keep getting asked to update again. Then I realized it's the same version !! 39.0.3 ? I believe that's the one. It asks over & over. I do restart Firefox & have even tried restarting my computer. But it still constantly asks. I have a Mac 10.6.8 OSX 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Thanks in advance for your time !!

From here I see you are using Firefox 38.0! Please follow these steps Go to Help in menu bar and click about Firefox. Then it will automatically say your browser is up to date or not. If not it will give you instruction. after up to date Please restart the browser.

Some Mac users cannot seem to have a update get properly installed.

You could download Firefox 39.0.3 from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

However Firefox 40.0 is due to come out Tuesday Aug 11 so you could wait.
