Firefox crashes every time I try to open it, even is safe mode. This started to happen this morning when I updated to version 40. I have tried doing a clean install, removed firefox and downloaded version 40 and it still does the same thing.

There was a release for "Websense Endpoint" that came out that seems to be affected a number of Firefox users. At this time they are still working on a fix for this bug. I can recommend disabling it, but that might not be safe. Please also contact Websense about this
