i open a 2nd Window sometime then the screen darkens, My mouse freezes up, sometimes for hours, sometimes less than 5 minutes, i just unplug it to solve it, then the restore screen comes up. if I allow it it just darkens again, this goes on sometimes for hours at a time

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?


check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers
