Every time I log into sync to sync my Firefox addons, history, preferences, passwords, bookmarks, and tabs, onto another computer on Campus (the computers save my personal data on a per computer, per user basis), some of the addons are disabled after Sync is done, others are not, and it is always random on which are and which are not. This includes my Firefox theme. I have it set to sync everything including preferences. But, some preferences sometimes sync, some never sync, while only a couple of preferences always sync (like homepage). my search preferences however, never save. it always reverts back to Google. and the "where to save files" always reverts back to "downloads" which we don't have access to on student access. we have to save to drive O:. How can I fix this? I cannot reinstall Firefox on student computers or anything because I don't have access to the drive it is stored on. I do have access to my user profile folder and Firefox appdata.

There might be a locked preference on the computer with your profile. If you are not the admin of the account check in the profile directory if there is a pref.js file or a lock file.

Also the homepage and the downloads folder are unique on each computer because of the location and path of the downloads folder being different on different devices. The android path to downloads is not the same on a windows computer. The homepage should sync

In about:config, make sure that services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.startup.homepage is set to true.

Only prefs that have a corresponding services.sync.prefs.sync.* pref that is set to true are synced.
