When I right-click on an email message the dropdown used to have "Delete Message" and the letter D would do that. Now the dropdown menu has "Decrypt to folder" first, so the letter D tries to do that. Two items in a menu can't have the same shortcut character. I have Enigmail installed, but haven't changed anything recently.

Maybe you need to discuss this with Enigmail. Delete is native to the Thunderbird Menu. The other choice is not.
