pressed the f3 key on imac and can't undo. Screen has 1 inch gap at bottom that now reveals dock and background photo. I can make the find in page bar close but not restore to full screen mode. Help Thank you

I don't know what F3 does on your Mac.

On Mac you can toggle Full Screen mode with Command+Shift+F

You can try to rename/remove the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.
