Hello, I am interested in using thrunderbird as my main e-mail app for my pc, my main concern right now is if i set up an exiting version of thunderbird, organize the files, save e-mails, save contacts etc. and get a new computer is there a way I can then transer all of this info to the new version on the new computer?

Also do you have an android app for thunderbird and if so does it sync with the pc app or are they sperate.

Thank you, Greg

You simply need to transfer the profile from your previous installation of Thunderbird to the new one.

There is no Thunderbird for either Android or iOS. Thunderbird optimised for a touch screen would be a totally different animal. You just use the native email client, or on Android, one of several 3rd party programs such as K-9 or TypeMail.

Please understand that Thunderbird is an email client. It isn't a service or an email provider, and it doesn't operate or provide any servers or accounts. You don't need Thunderbird on another device to be able to use the same accounts that you have in Thunderbird on your PC.
