I've been using Nightly for a few weeks and noticed something when I signed into Sync. Blank bookmark names that I put on toolbar have automatically got filled in with either url or title as the bookmark name.

I tried:

- Deleting all bookmarks and importing from backup: Works, but reverts to "named" bookmarks after I restart. - Changing my Sync password to force a refresh on server side: Problem persists after restart. - Removing bookmark name manually and clicking sync button on the hamburger menu: Problem persists after restart.

I have a suspicion that FF gets those bookmark names from my History after I restart but I don't know why it does that.

I found a BugZilla entry regarding this but I'm not sure it's what my problem is or not. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1379412

Is it no longer possible to have blank bookmark names?

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

I forgot to mention, it works when I enter anything as the name. So only blank bookmark names won't work. For example I entered "Alt+255" to have them all empty and it worked (Although it added additional padding to favicons on the toolbar, so it's not a good solution)
