I just want Mozilla to know
I am sick and tired of updates that change my settings!!! I NEVER use Google yet this latest update you throw Google into the search choices!! That's just one example. The update before that you didn't keep my tabs so I lost everything i was working on! Really getting sick of issues with every single update. AND, there's still a minimum of 4 FF 'Apps' running when I look at the task manager... WHY?! I am almost to the point of uninstalling FF!!! I'm sure no one from Mozilla will read this because they don't really care what the users think!

You can complain. Firefox Volunteer Support can not do anything about it. Here to help, only. To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest:
Mozilla gave up the contract with Yahoo and now has a Contract with Google, pays the bills. If do not like it switch engines from Options --> Search.

There are suppose to be 4 in the Task Manager and addons can put them in there also. Is called Quantum for a reason. as uses 4 cores, instead of the old 1 only, ver 58 brings multi-threading.
Loosing everything well that is why since beginning of computers there is a term called Back Up. fyi for the future :

If having issues with too much ram or cpu being used : Please : Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Help ? --> Troubleshooting Information Page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there. if yes, go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.
Monitor in Task Manager. Should stay below 2 gigs. If excessive then do below and monitor and change if need to.
Go the 3 Bar Menu then Options --> General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2 Restart Firefox after making these changes please.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Pkshadow: Thanks for link to suggestions. The rest was a tad cocky! I don't care if M is using google now instead of yahoo. If I have neither as a selection for my search engine... it should not be changed when they do updates and obviously... if I'm not using them then I already know how to set it up! Thank you for the info on Quantum, that explains it.
"Loosing everything well that is why since beginning of computers there is a term called Back Up. " Yes... I use to be a tech! But, 1) Backup would be the wrong terminology! I already know how to 'save' my tabs but this has never happened with any other updates so why would I think it would happen now?!!
FredMcD: Thanks. That's because one was in legacy and must have finally updated.
