When I type I skip letters in works, or reverse letters in words. I might get down 2 or three sentences before I notice I spelled many words wrong. The I spend justg as much tiome fixig my typos, then I do typing my thougtsd. Is there a way to auto correct simple typos in FF. I type 'teh' AL TEH TIME, for exapmnle. (typos left in) Thansk, KL

Spell Check works misspell by misspell, there is no global "auto correct" for massive spelling mistakes as you have described, sorry.

Becoming better with your keyboard skills and watching the monitor while typing so you can see a misspell right away and correcting them one at a time as they happen is the "best" solution.

I suffer with that, too - never got the hang of touch typing on a typewriter back in high school. Tried an adult evening class for "keyboarding" back in the mid-80's, but the instructor had a poor attitude and 21 out of 23 "students" dropped the course after the first night - and the class got canceled with refunds for everyone. Tried a few programs in the late 90's, but just couldn't regiment myself to sit and do the exercises to get much better; still a "hunt and pecker" watching the keyboard and not the monitor on my computers.

edited a word that was mispellt

What you can try is to install an add-on spellchecker that is more noticeable when there is an error.

For example: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/grammarly-1/ Grammarly for Firefox

Grammarly will help you communicate more effectively. As you type, Grammarly flags mistakes and helps you make sure your messages, documents, and social media posts are clear, mistake-free, and impactful.
