Ubuntu Firefox Desktop icon is HUGE (about 5 times normal) after update to 59.0 (64-bit), can't resize by any normal method.

This happens in Gnome Flashback Metacity, Cinnamon, and regular Ubuntu desktops.

I don't know if I got this from a Ubuntu build or straight from Mozilla - it's been years since I installed it. How can I tell?

Then you need to go to a Ubuntu Linux how to page or a forum and ask how to make a program short cut.

Are you using Firefox from Ubuntu or from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/  ?

What desktop manager do you has as in Unity, Gnome3, KDE, Xfce or something else?. This will help make it easier for somebody to post instructions or find a article that will help.

Not sure about the Ubuntu builds of Firefox however there is a mozicon128.png you can use in Firefox folder > browser icons for Firefox from Mozilla.

I looked for the file mozicon128.png, haven't yet found it - doesn't mean for sure it's not there...
