I am wondering if Firefox will incorporate a function allowing the projecting or sharing of one's PC screen to third party devices that use WIFI like Chromecast, Apple TV or Firestick? I like the Firefox browser better than others and it is my default. This feature would be nice to have if it is possible.

Hi, as mentioned Chromecast is proprietary Software and can not be used by Firefox as Google will not allow it.

As for developing something I have heard that there maybe but no idea for sure or when.

Hi, you can share on anything at the OS level. A HDMI cord from Video to HDMI 2

Windows 10 Screen mirroring https://www.thewindowsclub.com/mirror-windows-10-screen-to-another-device

All things can be found if google for them. Not enough information as to what your looking to do. What your looking to cast. The Right Click Menu is in Firefox to Send to Device & Cast to Device.

You can Cast with a Android phone now but not with a desktop/laptop as of yet.

Will not be able to say chromecast as that is propitiatory software.

Let me clarify. I have a Chromecast Ultra and if I use the Chrome Browser on any PC, I can cast from the browser to the Chromecast device with a function that is built into the browser. I can choose a single tab or my desktop from Chrome. I was hoping that Mozilla could also build this function into the Firefox Browser.

Will also point out a multi-billion dollar company vs a non-profit.
