extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains
Supposedly, removing the values from this about:config setting, extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains, and adding this to about:config, privacy.resistFingerprinting.block_mozAddonManager, and seting it to true, was supposed to reverse "Firefox extensions “restricted” from running on some sites", but I can't get it to work.
Is still a way a way to do this?

Hi noel_envoide, what site are you having a problem with?
I can tell you from personal experience that removing support.mozilla.org (and the extra comma) from the extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains list allows extensions to work on this support site.
I don't recommend that, actually, because this site has special access to your Troubleshooting Information, and extensions that can do things in the page would be able to read that information. But it's your call. Certainly not as dangerous as letting extensions read/modify pages on some other Mozilla sites.
I think the privacy.resistFingerprinting.block_mozAddonManager preference comes into play when you have privacy.resistFingerprinting set to true and want to prevent the add-ons site from recognizing that you have Firefox -- it's meant for Tor browser users. I suspect that is not relevant to your needs.

Clearing out extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains works here, but one of the other default sites in the setting is addons.mozilla.org.
I was mostly hoping it would work there, but it doesn't.

I remove all the sites listed in extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains. I don't know how it affects the other sites listed there yet, but extensions are still not allowed to work on addons.mozilla.org
I see, there must be some other mechanism that bars extensions from interacting with content on that site. What do you need to do there that the extension was going to do for you?
It's just for the convenience of it.
What i mean is that I want to be able to use my addons on these pages just like I would anywhere else.

I don't know what i was doing wrong before, but, go to about:config, right click in the window, select new > new Boolean > type in
privacy.resistFingerprinting.block_mozAddonManager
and set it to true.
It works for addons.mozilla.org
